After having rented for five years (I think we both were resisting being ""Floridians"" or ""Snow Birds"", too many ""old people"", my wife and I finally decided to buy in the Gardens. We looked at other parks in the area thinking we might get more bang for the buck, but we kept comparing them to our experiences as renters in The Gardens, and, well, they all came up short.\r \r This place is beyond all of our expectations. The Clubhouse ... WOW! The landscaping ... ditto ... the friends we've made, and our neighbors ... TERRIFIC! We do so much more here than we ever did in Minnesota in the winters ( the five-month-long winters.) Who knew there were so many Euchre players in one area? (and now they have bid euchre!) A first rate place to live. My only thought about the detractors is that they had bad credit or criminal records. I'm GLAD the management screens out the ""weeds"" because it makes everyone more secure knowing they have retired to a safe area.\r \r And! The office staff and the managers are the very definition of accommodating, a class act all round, truly. Lori could run for Mayor of Parrish and win!!! Very open about every step involved in finally buying in the Gardens, something we should have done after the first year we rented. We love this place, as do our grandchildren who love the beaches AND going to Disney World with Gammy and Gumps. What are you waiting for? Come on down!
