Review content:
I've been going to ABC for about 1 and a half years, and I initially thought very highly of them. Now I am searching for a better clinic. The office staff, save for one person who does the b-work and gives shots, is composed of unhappy-looking girls with snarky attitudes, all of whom need serious customer service training. The vet was not much better. After an initial exam and my explanation for the visit, she immediately suggested the most expensive course of action. She never once gave any indication of what might be causing the cat's mild coughing, she just presented the procedures she recommended, never once explaining why, and then left to have some poor, ill-equipped girl to present the costs of the diagnostic procedures. When I asked for explanations for these procedures, the vet returned, staring at me coldly, appearing to be barely able to contain her disdain and impatience that I had dared to ask for explanations and about possible causes of the cough. It was like pulling teach to get her to tell me what each proposed procedure would indicate and what were the alternatives.
It cost $150 for the exam, some b-work and an anti-inflammatory shot. The vet recommended procedures that were closer to $500.
In short, no resolution to the cough, no helpful service, snippy little girls as office staff, a non-communicative vet more interested in expensive diagnostic procedures than in considering and communicating all possibilities and options. FIND A BETTER VET.
Pros: clean
Cons: customer care, attitude of staff, approach to patients, cost
