Review content:
{UPDATE 2006-01-26} The drugstore appears to be under heavy renovation (maybe they read my article?); I'm not sure if it's open.
The first thing that strikes your attention as you arrive is that you don't seem to be entering a drugstore but rather a liquor store. Palace Drugs shares its space with a liquor store. They used to have separate entrances but not anymore. You have to walk by the Shiraz display in order to get to the pharmacy desk and then on to the OTC stuff.
The upside of this is that Palace is open for longer hours than other drugstores in the area. The downside is, well, it's creepy to walk past the racks of booze as you're on your way to get some painkillers. The place needs a renovation.
The selection of OTC supplies doesn't take up much area but they seem to have complete stock. Some of the items on the shelf are expired so make sure to double check. When I forgot the clerk graciously allowed me to exchange the expired item for an up-to-date one.
