Review content:
My friends and I used to love Teaks, particularly for its great lunch-time sushi specials. However, my recent experience eating at Teaks with my family has forever crossed it off the list. First, despite calling ahead to say we would be late for our reservation, the host berated me for our tardiness. Next, we waited 20 minutes for water and utensils, which we only received by begging a waitress to bring it to us. Throughout the dinner, which came dish by dish and drink by drink, our waitress was rushed and made it seem like she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. The real kicker, however, was when my sisters honeybee sushi roll had pieces of crab shell in it (theres not even crab in the roll). The manager apologized but did not remove the shell-laced sushi from the bill. When we approached him about it, he tersely refused to take it off the bill, dismissing our complaints as a mere annoyance. On top of everything else, the other sushi we ordered was mediocre at best. We will never go back again.
