CHECK THE FOOD YOU ARE SERVING!\r Service wasn't bad, I ordered an avocado strawberry salad. Half way through my salad, as I'm enjoying the mix of pecans, strawberries, avocados, and greens I notice something that does not look like a pecan, upon further examination I see that this is indeed not a nut but a dried up GRUB or BUG! Disgusted by my salad but remaining calm and understanding, keeping in mind this can happen at any restaurant, I notify my dinner companions as well as the waitress. All of them agree this is indeed, a bug. Waitress takes it to the back. When the waitress returned (bringing me the check) she informed me that I was WRONG, it was just a piece to a shell. This was not a piece to a shell, this was a dried bug. I decided not to fight it further took the check to pay. Wanting to use a gift certificate I had 3 employees who had no clue how to ring it up and ended up taking the gift certificate amount off the already taxed amount and then taxing it again! Trying to point out the math error I received looks as though I was the crazy person. There were no apologies at any point. To end this story, I am Utterly disappointed in my dining experience at Canton Coney Island and Grill. I wish I had taken a picture to prove it was INDEED a BUG!
