Review content:
Four of us went to McCormick andd Scmeck's expecting impectalbe service and food. Kind of a shock. After we were seated, we were encourage by the waiter to buy a particular bottle of wine, a few minutes later he returns to say they were out of that wine... Shouldn't he have checked ahead of time? \r
Three of us ordered clam chowed and the fourth ordered a differrent soup, 4 chowders were deleiverd to the table. \r
We had to ask for bread, which came as a half of a bordello roll, with 3 slices and a heel on a plate. \r
Our salads came, we asked for more bread and could water be place on the table. \r
That hadn't arrived but the waiter did top the condiments on the talbe with the desserts list. a few minutes later, it started on fire! We had no water to put it out but luckily one of us was a fireman. He use the empty bread plates to smother the fire. The ONLY comment for the waiter was, ""Oh, my fault."" \r
Dinner was served and was adequate, tastey, all though the portions were small, (4 scallops?) They did bring the water during the main course. \r
While clearing off the last dinner plate, they finally brought the bread and yes, it was the same little amount. \r
We heard from another patron the the Zaggot's Guide was there. We were wondering if he saw what was going on at our table? By this time we were laughing. Maybe that's were all the help was, catering to the Zaggot people? We went never offer any kind of comp for the fire or the calamity of errors. \r
If you go, remember to eat first and bring your own firefighter!
