Review content:
I am sorry that the person who wanted the antique sewing machine had such a bad experience. I've bought 4 or 5 machines there, and each has been a good deal with great customer support. I get them cleaned at Sewing Express, and they always come back like new.\r \r The owner may be a little hard to understand, but the other staff there are most gracious. The owner has always dealt with me fairly and given me good offers.\r \r As for the antique sewing machine, while sentimental to the customer, it is not sentimental to the shop owners. They buy machines to make money on them. When the mother sold it to them, they did just that. They can't afford to keep trade-ins and purchases in storage just in case a relative may come in wanting it back.\r \r As for being shocked that the machine was taken apart, please remember that it's not the machine that was sentimental to you, it was the memories of your mom sewing with it. Those memories will be with you forever, if you can let go of your anger and accept the reality of the sewing machine market.
