I am a nurse at the University of Iowa and my fiance is a police officer. I planned ahead for us to stay at the Baymont when I heard the blizzard was most likely going to keep us in Iowa City for a day or two. The woman at the front desk was phenomenal. She allowed us to check in at 8 AM when we just got off work, and she informed us of the continental breakfast AND lasagna dinner that was being provided for all the guests that were snowed in. It was so nice not having to think about how we were going to get food in a blizzard, so we greatly appreciated that.\r
