Review content:
If it was possible to give a zero star rating, I would.
I just tried setting up an appointment at the Family Medicine practice at UNC, and the receptionists were so rude that I actually decided not to make an appointment there. The first one hung up on me when I told her didn't have my insurance card in front of me, but if she had let me finish my sentence she would have known that I had all the information in an email and she just needed to ask me for it.
When I called back, a different person answered the phone and I could hear the first woman in the background complaining about how I didn't have my card and using a really unprofessional tone.
When I expressed my anger and frustration at the situation, saying that I should not have to put up with this especially since I am just trying to have a melanoma removed my breast, the second person (who was a man) actually had the nerve to tell me I could not speak to him that way, as if having a melanoma on my breast was a profanity.
I will NEVER, EVER go here, and I would never allow anyone I cared about to go here. They obviously don't care about the well-being of their patients if they would hire not one, but TWO obnoxious staff members to interface with patients.
However, if you enjoy being treated like an unimportant piece of sh*t, this probably is the place for you.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude, mean-spirited receptionists
