The most unpleasant auto shopping experience I've had, and my family owns 3 cars and comparison shop in at least 2 places for each.\r
i was referred to a sales manager, Phillip Sherlock by a mechanic who believed Phillip was giving his referrals a good deal. In addition, Philip represented to me that, because of my close relationship with the mechanic, he was cutting the price to the bone.\r
Actually, what Philip did was start about $3,500 above list price of the base level vehicle and then showed big discounts etc. He and the salesman Jeff Lefkowitz, both pretended that this level of discount was unheard of. When I refused to purchase they tried to get me to drive the quoted vehicle home so I would have to return. I did not. Instead, i went into another NIssan dealer without disclosing I had been to Coral Springs and asked for a quote. Their first quote on the same vehicle was thousands less.\r
By the way, my visit took almost 4.5 hours although, at Philips direction I had made an appointment with the saleman Jeff Lefkowitz. Mr. Lefkowitz, stated that his prior appointment had arrived late, but took the keys to my trade in to give to the appraisal and then did not return them until he was finally ready to talk. Mr. Lefkowitz is inconsiderate as well as dishonest.\r
