Review content:
I finally had to put my boy to sleep today. We had a glorious five extra months together though thanks to the fine staff here. During this time my beagle and I spent as many moments together as possible, taking long evening walks and just spending time with each other. I know he was happy. He did so great during this time, healing so well and feeling so good that I almost convinced myself that he could beat the odds. But it just wasn't to be. Over the past week he just didn't have the strength he had before and began tiring more easily every day. This morning he just laid in his bed, clear-eyed but body unwilling to go any further. He was a soldier until the end though and I will love him forever. Thank you, everybody here for giving me something so, so precious. God bless you all.
