Do not come here!! I have been a client with community animal hospital for the last 5 years. The day i really needed them to look at my sick vomiting dog who had bloody diarrhea. They refused to see me because i did not have an appointment and said they are not a emergency clinic. I told the women who answered the phone that my dog may die and they wont see me? The lady pretty much said yup. After that incident, i will never go back to this place. The staff obviously does not care about the animals, its just a job to them, it shows in there faces. I would suggest going else where!\r

Few years ago when i was 17 i used to work for them too. Dr Sloat has always been a very ill-mannered man when it came to the hospitalized animals. Only time he was nice was when the client was there.\r

I remember him taking a big yellow lab who had a chain imbedded into his neck. He did the surgery for the SPCA, the SPCA could not pay him what he wanted. So he decided to go to the SPCA donation jar and take all the money that was in there and pocket it. I will dare anyone to ask him about that day, he may get irate if he hasn't changed.\r

I was hoping this place changed and they obviously have not. So i beg of you for the welfare of your animal go else where! Only thing that this place has going for it is that they are affordable. They however do not care about the animals. The only two that do are Stephanie and Cindy Buckingham.\r

My dog is now fine since i took him to a different vet.
