I am from the local area . I also worked at the Timber Creek right out of school . It is out in the middle of nowhere. If you are not from around here this resort is a long drive from anything except for cows . There is a guard shake but it has never been occupied and the gates are never put down. Do not come and take a tour for the promise of a gift . There are far better places to spend your vacation in the St Louis area and The Ozarks. The news is constantly investigating this ""resort"" because of consumer complaints. Please do not frequent this establishment because you will hate Missouri and Missouri does not deserve it.
