If you are thinking of getting LASIK, see all alternatives in the area, then see Filutowski.
There are a number of well qualified Doctors in the area, that are not in the $6,000+ range. Please research all the hype of high-definition compared to standard, as it may only be needed for 'higher order aberrations'
As you leave after the free consultation, they want to schedule you for an exam, where they say $100 will be for operating procedure room hold-time. If you compare LASIK facilities in the area, go here last. Definately gather as much data as you can, and ask many questions. I believe you are paying for marble, brass, fancy furniture, and a brand name eyeball, where nearly half a dozen other facilities can perform an equally perfect surgery.
