If you are looking for quality and satisfaction, look elsewhere. You will not find that at Spring Carpets. I expected it to be a great flooring experience with such a large dealer, but was sadly disappointed. We had hardwood put into our home and it started to snag and rip. The installation manager determined that it could be "touched up". The guy they sent out said that there was no way that it was a spot job and, that they would have to take the floor completely out. An independent came out and determined that it was an installation and manufacturing issue and that the floor would need to be replaced. There was no way we were going to use the same type of wood and Spring Carpet only gave us one other option. It was not the exact type or color of wood that I had originally wanted, so I had to settle. We then had to be put out again by them coming into our home and tearing it up again. We then had to have someone come in to clean up all the dust in the kitchen, on furniture, window blinds, and carpet again. Of course, Spring Carpet did not compensate us for this. Throughout this experience, the installation manager was very condescending and had no comprehension of customer service. It was like we were putting him out. Save yourself the heartache and please, go somewhere else. Oh yeah, and we still have issues with the new floor that they put in. There is a space between the boards up by the front door and dips elsewhere. We get to look forward to taking off work, so that they can examine and probably not fix it correctly.
