Amazing experience working with Gina. She transformed my look and, it seems, my life as I feel like a brad new person! She is not only a Master in what she does, she is an Artist. I did a thorough research (brands, techniques, common problems, etc) before I decided on two top salon choices for my extensions - and Glam was my first and last stop. I've met Gina, learned about the process and also about her values as a professional - and became hooked for life, I think. Despite the hectic schedule at the salon that day, she made sure I left with my new gorgeous mane and that I am happy with it - so what if it took us until after 10 pm to be completely done? She seemed to be fully devoted to my project as well as to her every customer's. In fact, as Gina was doing her magic with my hair, a lady walked in tortured by pain from her extensions someone else glued on right to her scalp! She begged Gina to remove them, all that she wanted was to be free of pain. By the time Gina and her assistant gently took care of the lady, she was begging Gina to place Gina's extensions into her head! Being a top notch pro, Gina told the lady she'd be happy to do it - after her skin heals! It is really rare to meet someone in this business who truly looks after her clients' well-being instead of having dollar signs in her eyes. No wonder there were so many hugs and kisses when her regular clients kept popping up for maintenance, to get products or just to say hello - the energy at the salon was awesome!
So here is the bottom line - my hair (very long, 22"") look amazing, (not only my opinion but a reaction from my family and friends). Gina gave it such pretty layers, the whole mane popped up in a great shape - and it has been keeping the shape for the 4th day now! Even though I have a super-sensitive scalp (and that was my major concern, whether extensions will be pulling thus irritating me constantly), I literally do not feel that there are any foreign objects in my head - it is all as if it is my hair I was born with. Yes, the procedure is a bit pricey but the truth here is the old one: you get what you pay for. Even though I only stay in Miami during winters, I will make sure to be coming to see Gina for maintenance and I hope she considers expanding to North East one day soon.
