I like to drive new cars, so about every three years, I start jonesing for a new car. Then I would lose my hair over the experience of buying a car. I just don't get it. Ask for David Bagby in fleet sales, have your best price ready. I have now bought 4 cars from him(in order: Special Ordered Explorer Sport, Eddie Bauer Explorer, Ford Ranger, Eddie Bauer Explorer), one friend I referred to him bought her next 3 cars (Explorer Sport, F150, F150), another friend of mine just bought his second F150 from him. The way I used to buy cars was know what I wanted then drive around to different dealerships, having them kick me in the nuts for at least 2 hours while they "talk to the manager". I had a price, I called David over the phone, told him what I wanted, and what my price was, he gave me their price *over the phone*. I went over there expecting more game playing, but he had that exact price ready for me. Creative on the financing? How do you get creative with 1.9% or 0% interest? And the beauty is, I've checked the pricing and financing I've gotten from him in the past against other dealerships, and never been disappointed. Now, about that new Edge Hybrid I've been hearing about... Pros: They are just straightforward, honest and simple. Cons: Heights location is not the most convenient for me.
