Review content:
Having received an advertisement for Liberty Mutual from my automobile leasing company, I decided to check on their rates (compared to my current auto insurance company). Liberty Mutual's rates were signficantly lower and so I asked about their umbrella liability policies (which were also much cheaper than my current insurance) and about home owner's insurance so that I could deal with a single insurance company. Here's where the problem arose. Since we have an underground oil storage tank Liberty Mutual refuses to offer us home owner's insurance. This in spite of the fact that our oil storage tank has been tested and is monitored for leakage and is separately insured. This in spite of the fact that virtually all insurance companies (including Liberty Mutual) regularly exclude damage from specified hazards (e.g. floods) from their policies. Stupidity seems to be the rule at Liberty Mutual. A pox on you. I'll take my business elsewhere.
