Great customer service with fair competitive repair pricing… I am giving a Grade “A”\r I have a 2004 Ford Explorer which is known for transmission issues. I called several popular transmission shops and they all claimed they could repair the transmission better than new but none would extend their transmission warranty past 1 year/12000 miles without additional hefty charge. I did my homework as best I could and most rebuilt transmission repair trouble if not done right start to appear after one year. I called Atlanta Certified Transmission and Spoke with Ernie, the store manager, and he answered my entire question about the Ford Explorer transmission rebuild and helped me understand what was involved in a good transmission rebuild and the approximate cost. He assured me that this company would stand behind their work with a 2 year/ 24000 mile warranty. I don’t live close to Snellville but Ernie knowledge and customer service sold me. Long story short- JAN 3, 2011 I had the transmission rebuilt by them, and it took about a 2 weeks only because of the snow storm. A week after the transmission rebuild, I noticed a few drops of transmission fluid in my garage and without an appointment I took the car in for check up to find were the slow drip was coming from. Within 15 minutes they were able to put the SUV on a lift and they tightened the transmission pan bolt and that solved the problem. No more leaking. Now it is March 3, 2011 and the SUV continues to shifts into gear smoothly and it runs great. I took this time to write my recommendation about this store manager and his service team because I wanted others to know the respectful manner in which I was treated, fair comparative pricing I was charged and the fact that they are willing to stand by their work with a two year warranty! They are what customer service is all about.\r D. Houston\r Lithia Springs, GA\r
