Whatever you do, don't LOOK at the place -- just order and EAT! Bird Dog has everything I could ask for in a brisket sandwich: piled high with tender, juicy, MEAT! The sauces are tasty, tho' I like mine with an ocean of Tabasco. My Mom had the potato with brisket. This is something neither of us had ever seen. My goodness, this was a huge potato with a huge amount of the same tasty brisket piled on top. WOW! All this food was a bargain, too.\r
As far as the ambience, that needs some ... well ... A LOT of work. Policing around the trashcans and tables would go along way to making the place look cleaner. And on one wall the appliances look like they came out of a landfill. The food is so good, I can buck-up and ignore that stuff.
Pros: Great food / Great value
Cons: Place needs a good cleanup
