Yesterday evening we visited Outback restaurant in New Bern, NC to celebrate my husband's birthday. I made a reservation in advance for 3 people coming at 5.45 in the afternoon. We arrived in the restaurant at 5.40 and we were told, that however we made a reseravation in advance they were waiting for two bigger groups so we had to wait. I made a reservation early in the afternoon, and I showed the lady the name and the number of people in company in the open book in front of her. She said that they took no reservations and she was sorry, but we had to wait in line for a free table. The way we were treated was the most impolite and insensible we were outraged. We went to a different restaurant, however we made no reservation we were treated nice, we were given a table in a minute, and had great food. I do not think we will ever consider going to Outback in New Bern again.
