Review content:
The best florist in Vancouver, period! I haven't seen such an eclectic variety of fresh flowers anywhere else. Tropical ""birds of paradise"" and other beautiful things I couldn't identify, orchids of all hues, Canadian Gerber daisies, lush clusters of hydrangea, the most vividly purple kale, and so many unusual types of greenery... The sweet lady behind the counter is the owner, who was so helpful in the face of my overwhelming uncertainty and gave me lots of tips for keeping my flowers fresh longer. I went next door for coffee while waiting for her to make the arrangement and came back to see a vase bursting with lilies, daisies, clover, and feared I'd been duped, that there was no way it would fit in the $50 budget I specified...it came to $47 and looked SO much better than I could have imagined! Based on my experience with a nearby competitor in downtown Vancouver, I couldn't believe it. Since that initial visit, I've gone back several times and have been absolutely satisfied. I can't believe the money I've wasted at other florists when Marketplace has been here this whole time! This place is an absolute gem.
