I had heard okay things about their cakes and with Rolf's being the bakery of 3 of the seven weddings we went to this past summer..not impressed! This bakery is offered with our venue so we went in for the tasting and Sarah was rude and trashy. Could not get the concept of the cake we wanted and really only wanted us to do the ""package deal"" when we wanted to upgrade. She kept trying to back out of what we wanted so I gave up and agreed to what she said so we could get out. Also, the cakes from what we had seen did not look finished. The tasting was okay but the cake is a lot better with the other bakery we chose. If we are willing to spend the money for another bakery that should tell you something. When you are getting married you want someone who is going to make things easier not make things more difficult. I have also heard that a lot of brides got a cake that was not what they wanted. I would not go with this bakery and have heard from other guests that they did not like the cakes. Also, they had to shut down last year due to people getting sick because they ordered from a bad source. I know that things like that can happen but we did not want to take the chance again. Plus if people know that and then know where your cake came from then that is embarrassing..Sorry Rolf's..
