I had a TERRIBLE experience at Il Giardino Del Dolce. We intended to use a Groupon toward catered items for our daughter's first birthday party. The owner in St. Charles sent us a menu and, when we contacted her to confirm our order, informed us that there had been a mistake on the prices as listed on the menu. We asked her to honor what we had been quoted (which amounted to a $15 difference on an almost $90 order), which she reluctantly agreed to do. However, she then refused to accept our coupon on the basis that she had ""given us a discount,"" and proceeded to argue with my husband in front of a restaurant full of people! In the end, we were held responsible for her failure to proof read her menu before distributing it to customers. I would strongly discourage anyone from giving this bakery business. The food is mediocre and they do not value their customers. \r
