Review content:
I just purchased 1,000 sq. ft. of sod and had it delivered to my home. I was promised that it would be cut that morning. The sod had clearly not been cut that morning and had to be AT LEAST 4 days old. It was very dry and extremly hard. The only living organisms that we found in it were grubs.. at least 8 per piece. If you know anything about sod, then you know that it has to be installed within 24 hours because it contains living organisms(insects) that are vital to its survival. I called the Long Grove office where we purchased it and he said over and over that the sod is guaranteed for 1 year. Well, the guarantee doesn't cover all the time and energy that I spent laying the junk they delivered. It took us 8 hours - that I will never get back.
Pros: courteous employees
Cons: Grub-filled and etremely dried out Sod
