Review content:
I purchased a hard drive from EBC Computers a while back. Their policy is to swap out faulty hardware within 30 days of its purchase. The hard drive I purchased was fine until the evening of the 28th day when it completely failed. EBC was closed for the evening at that point, and they were also closed the 29th and 30th day due to a Sunday and a Monday holiday.\r
\r
When I took the drive back on Tuesday, the store refused to swap it out for a new one because I was over my 30 days. It didn't matter that they weren't open on the 29th and 30th day, they refused to swap it out.\r
\r
If you are looking for computer parts, PC Club is a much better local option (or newegg if you don't mind shopping online). Their employees are better trained and they will swap out faulty hardware a few days after the 30th day whether they were closed or not.\r
\r
I do not recommend EBC Computers.
Pros: Since its local, you can get parts today
Cons: Long wait times even with few customers in the store, horrible customer service
