Review content:
My lovely evening at Louie?s, we arrived at Louie?s on a nice spring evening in Meridian, Idaho. We were promptly seated and left with our dinner menus. The staff quickly poured us some water and let us know that our waiter would be with us shortly. After a few minutes later our water appeared and was ready to take our drink order, so I asked him if we could have a drink menu, he apologized for the lack of drink menus and the unorganized table and quickly got me a drink menu. My wife got a beer, my son got a soda and I ordered a half-liter of Merlot. A short 5 minutes later he came back with our drinks and gave me my wine glass stuffed with a bar napkin and plopped my Merlot down like a pitcher of beer and walked away. Then I got my wonderful warm Caesar Salad and enough bread for 2 people. A short 8 to 10 minutes later my Veal Parmesan arrived and he informed us that he didn?t want it to get cold while our other 2 meals finished cooking. So I nibbled on my sub-par Veal Parmesan for 5 or 6 minutes until my wife and son got their pizza?s. They looked like a master-piece until we discovered that the pizza dough was still half dough, the waiter was kind enough to let us know that the the manager would be more than happy to cook it again. Wait, cook it again? Ok, so about 10 minutes later another lady brings back the pizza and was puzzled why my wife didn?t want a pizza with burnt toppings. Within minutes the manager showed up and wanted to know what is wrong, my wife asked if she saw the twice cooked pizza, she said ?yes, I mean no? and told us how the oven must be set wrong or the dough must be too thick Did I mention that my Son?s pizza was under cooked also? She did offer to cook another pizza but by that time we were through and asked for our bill. Soon later our waiter gave us our bill and let us know that the manager took the pizza off our bill and wouldn?t you know it, they took a whole dollar off my tab for the trouble. I quickly gave them my credit card.
Pros: Good beer, soda and wine
Cons: Bad food, poor manager, teenager staff
