Review content:
If you're in the mood for a certain restaurant and are considering ordering from Takeout Taxi, here's some friendly advice: just go to the restaurant. In the time it will take them to bring your food, you could get ready, go to the restaurant, eat, and be home. They promise delivery in an hour 15, but my delivery time topped 2 hours. Not to mention being forced, at your door with no notice, to pay a tip (no matter how crappy the service), on top of the $5.99 delivery charge, $1.46 service fee and $.75 fuel surcharge that the company has already charged your card. Oh, and if you change the tip and sign the receipt, beware - the delivery guy will simply change it back to what he sees fit. That's what happened to me, and that's why I'll never use this service again.
Pros: You can have your fave restaurants at home.
Cons: Be prepared to pay dearly for it. And, they don't even warn you of all the costs involved when ordering.
