Review content:
I also had a very negative experience with Dr. Powers himself. I had a checkup, and when my $600 Rx glasses came, I was seeing double out of one eye. When I asked him if the Rx was wrong, or my glasses, he checked both, and told me that the Rx and the glasses were both correct and matching, and that it was just my eyes. Ok, I thought, so I asked him, ""Is this something that will get better over time wearing the new prescription."" and he responded, ""It's hard to say, but you don't question your family physician about the prescription they give you, do you? If you don't like the Rx, go back to the old one. "" When I asked him if he would then help me mitigate the cost of new lenses (i.e. would he ask the people in Lenscrafters to cut me deal) he said, ""No, I don't have that kind of relationship with them.""
