I found this place while driving by on the 101 North freeway towards Ventura. I ventured in and was surprised at the menu selection. There are selections from burritos to quesadillos to combo plates. The decor reminds me of a surfer's hang-out with surfboards and posters posted everywhere. There are videos playing of surf competitions on the TVs posted overhead and behind the counter. From time to time, Carlos will have video viewings of the latest surf competition. During those days, the restaurant is packed with everyone from all walks of life ranging from young to old. There are long hard wood tables (along with 2 person tables) placed within the restuarant. Additional seating is also outside on the front patio area. The owner, Carlos, is a former surfer and is very easy going. I recommend the taquitos, flautas, and chicken fajitas. The burritos are huge and will easily satisfy any appetite. At one point, I was coming in every week sometimes up to twice a week. I've never been disappointed with the service or food at this place. I've taken all my friends here and have recommended this place to co-workers, as well. If I'm in the area, this will always be the first on the list to stop by and get something to eat. Pros: Food, service, atmosphere
