My husband and I took our son and wife to dinner to celebrate his birthday Saturday evening. We had a reservation at 5:30 p.m. We all arrived promptly. By the time we ordered our drinks and food, it was 5:55. We spent $264 including tip. Our check arrived and we paid it but were still talking and finishing our drinks. My tea was hot and I had 3/4 of a cup left. A waitress tapped my son on the back and said ""we need the table"". I looked around and there were other empty tables available. We were all stunned so we got up and left without addressing this matter with the manager. We were in the parking lot handing over the ticket to the valet (another $4.00) at 6:58 p.m. I have traveled to many countries around the world and have never had this happen to me.
