going out for sushi is always an experience, and Katsuya is definitley the best one i have had. i've tried sushi at many different restaurants, from LA to Orange County and this one is my favorite. Prices are reasonable, sushi is fresh, and service is good. I have taken several of my friends here, and they all agree that it is the best sushi they have had. My boyfriend and I always take our out of town guests here when they want sushi, and so far everyone loves it! The fish is so fresh, it practically melts in your mouth. Among my favorites are the spicy tuna on crispy rice, the albacore sashimi appetizer with crispy onions, the robert roll (avocado, spicy tuna, lobster, shrimp), and the rock shrimp tempura. Don't be surprised if you run into some celebs, i've seen several in my many times here. definitley try to make reservations, or you could be waiting for quite some time, even on weeknights. the service is prompt, mostly because i think they just want to feed you and get you out of there to make room for the next person. but the wait staff is still nice and helpful.
Pros: sushi, sushi, sushi....and the prices are very reasonable
Cons: always a long wait!
