Review content:
I went to this shop to get my weave removed and have my hair braided back to sew my weave back in myself. I already think it is inappropriate to speak in your native/another language in front of clients BUT to actually talk about clients RIGHT IN THEIR FACE IS UNACCEPTABLE! The ENTIRE time I was there they were talking about me. It wasn't until I was about to leave that I informed the owner and the rest of them that BEFORE you decide to talk about people MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT LANGUAGE THEY SPEAK! Clearly they had an issue with my hair being dirty....yes it was dirty I had a weave for longer than usual but BIG DEAL, ya'll never seen a customer with extra dirty hair from being braided up???? Even if they didn't what makes them think it is alright to CONTINUOUSLY talk about a customer/person (have the balls to say it in english since you THINK I don't understand you). The entire time I sat there listening to see how far they would go. I had to go purchase my own towels from next door because they are using the same DIRTY towels on shampooed hair. Just because you're ""only"" a braiding shop doesn't mean you don't display CLEANLINESS and being SANITARY!! Then when I said something about not having towels she tried to act like just because the hair that was taken out was dirty what should I care!!! Is she serious???? I know plenty of briading shops that are fully equipped with supplies but Marie Frances Hair Braiding for SURE ISN'T one of them! No clean towels, no clips using raggedy flimsy rubber bands to hold hair that rips the hair out when tring to remove, no good blow dryer (oh yeah I blow dried my own hair cause the girl doing my hair didn't know how to blow dry! I had to show her and she still couldn't get it!), no oil for scalp so I purchased that too....yall using pink lotion???? Like really??? LOL Seriously??? smh, no professionalism, broke chairs, caked up dirt in places, no garbage cans!!!!! HOT MESS! I know I am missing something in this review but I feel I got the main point across! Never again I know that.
