Review content:
We used this company because it was recommended by a family friend (his former employer) for work that needed to be done at our house prior to renting it out. \r
\r
After contacting them initially, it took them a week and a half to schedule a date to do the estimate - and then had to reschedule for a date a week later. Once they actually completed the work (which was a hassle to actually attempt to schedule them out at the house)...they never bothered to file for a permit with the city. Instead of owning up to the fact that they didn't follow through on their end, they tried to pass of the delay to the city permit/inspection department. However, when we actually followed up with the city regarding the permit/inspection, we were told that a permit request hadn't even been filed with them. We have then been leaving messages for the last week and a half to find out why a permit hasn't been requested, but no one has bothered to call us back. \r
\r
Finally when I called today to demand an explanation since they have now cost us over $1000 in lost rent money not to mention whatever cost we are going to be charged for the work that they have done, they told me that they lost the paperwork for the permit on their desk and that they sent it to the city today.\r
\r
Their lack of concern for communication and customer service is absolutely unacceptable - therefore, I would not recommend using this company unless you are looking for a second full time job to babysit them every step of the process.
Cons: Not organized, don't return messages
