Last year we took our sick dog there. They could not keep her overnight as theY do not have the facilities to do so, resulting in our dog not geting the proper treatment for her medical issues. After 3 days of taking her back and forth, Dr. Herr said VERY BLUNTLY...I hate to be so blunt, but there is nothing else that can be done...she has 2 days to live.\r I was TOTALLY devistated! Thankfully, we took her for a 2nd opinion, where we found out, by a very competent Vet, that she neeeded a MINIMUM of 10 DAYS nonstopIV to flush the toxins that were in her body Out!\r Now, exactly one year later, our girl is doing very goOd, thanks only to the Animal Hospital that we took her to for a 2nd opinion!\r I will NEVER take ANY living creature to this place again. They are very callous, rude and do not have the proper facility for an emergency situation if needed.\r They should have told us that to begin with and quite possibly we could have shortened her hospital stay, if we had gotten her into the qualified Vet earlier! So, $3,000. later I have our girl back, with NO THANKS TO THE ORTONVILLE ANIMAL CLINIC AND DR HERR!!!\r please, THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING YOUR BELOVED PET THERE! Cons: they did not properly treat my dog and she almost died!
