This company has reported false information to the credit bureau twice. I have never been there and I have no children, and yet they have reported me twice. The 2nd report was made after they acknowledged their first erroneous report, which now means that they are knowingly reporting false information to the credit bureaus, which is in direct violation of the Federal Trade Commission?s Fair Credit Reporting Act. They were not given my social security # and they still connected the claim to me. This has cost me THOUSANDS due to higher interest rates on my current home, credit cards and car loans. It has also cost me a great deal of time in disputing it and explaining it to creditors. It is currently affecting the purchase of my new home and it will cost me thousands MORE. Instead of a 6.5% interest rate, I am looking at 7.75-9%!!! With the market being the way it is right now, there is a chance I will lose my new home entirely. I have been waiting 7 months for this as I am having it built and now I may never have it. I monitor my credit so I caught it right away, but not everyone does this. I am disputing it (again) and it will come off because it is completely false information, but this takes up to 30 days. Meanwhile, I am supposed to close in 2 weeks....
