Review content:
The place has fairly 'classy' atmosphere, and the staff's service is only fair to middling until they warm to people--which could take a few visits if your skin-tone happens to be ... too northern European, shall we say? They seem to succeed almost despite their servers' general blahsee-fare attitudes if only because they're obviously fulfilling a too hard to find escape from the overwhelmingly pedestrian Irish/Italian/African Americana stomping grounds 'round Syracuse's 'grand central' Armory Sq. nightlife arena. (& I am one of those 'tight whites', so there's no great 'counter-cultural' prejudice here.) Can't speak for the food but drink selection is very good, and you simply can't fault any place for being popular where so many other worldly acculturated 'beautiful people' can come together and ACTUALLY ENJOY dancing--without all the usual up-tightness/rudeness which takes to the floor in most other places around the region. Their clientele themselves are only there to have a good time and are more accepting than the overwhelmed staff, so if you're looking for a finer place to have some good natured, open-minded cultural adventure, there's simply no more than MAYBE 2 other places in downtown to take that someone so special and exceptionally good-natured.
