Review content:
Monica's had very prompt seating in the early evening, boasts a very attentive wait staff; they even offer to hang up our coats and wraps instead of us draping them over a chair. Our waiter was helpful in suggesting a wine from Monica's extensive & expensive wine list; he also patiently explained the many specials of the evening. We had fresh appetizer salads and great antipasta. The shock came with the bill, with its overpriced specials. We had ordered two. They averaged $8-$10 more than many other entrees. We expected pricey, but be prepared to spend more than you expect if you do not inquire first. The specials sounded so delicious, but were definitely not worth the extra $$.
