The owner of Gerald's Heavenly Desserts finally caught up with me after a few attempts to reach me so I could taste his much talked about cheesecake, ....and you know finding me at home is rare. (smile) \r
I'm not really a fan of cheesecake, it's alright, I'd much rather have a slice of Chocolate cake...however, I do believe in supporting small businesses. After a long day I finally settled down and decided to try the delicately handcrafted Strawberry Cheesecake, it was wonderful! Great flavor, not overly rich, excellent coloring, tasty crust, sweet delicate strawberry glaze, and topped with fresh strawberries. Now I know what all the fuss is about, I can see his desserts in a quaint bakery in the heart of Midtown, on Peachtree Street, of course. Gerald boasts his desserts are made from scratch and with the finest ingredient, and it's true. \r
Don't just take my word for it, go to the website for a list of all his decadent cheesecake desserts, I'll name a few for you: Sweet Potato cheesecake, Banana Foster, Keylime, Praline Pecan, Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip, Pineapple Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Lemon, Caramel Apple, Upside Down Pineapple, Turtle, Oreo, Butterfinger and plenty more. Gerald also offers desserts made with Splenda, no shipping or delivery charge for local Atlanta metro area inside the Perimeter, there's a small delivery charge for orders outside the Perimeter.
