The food is ok. I think the restaurant is a bit overrated. The sushi is fresh, I give it that. The maki (rolls) are a joke. We ordered the eel and cucumber roll and you could only taste the cucumber. I've had better at a local Pasadena sushi place if you can believe it. The soft shell crab spring roll was good as was the chilean seabass. Again, pretty much what I expect from a highly rated restaurant, nothing more. Service was BAD. We asked for green tea and sake and neither came but we were charged for both. The table was rickety and they couldn't seem to fix it. I'd rather head to J-town for a better value!
