The other day my girlfriend and I decided to go to lunch and chose Paulette's Country Kitchen as our destination....big mistake. We ordered our food and seemed to have gotten it in, more or less, a timely manner. After taking a few bites of the sandwich that I ordered, I decided to open it and add some extras. However, there were already some extras added for med, A HAIR. I immediately gained the attention of the waitress, who then brought over the owner, Paulette herself. With body posture and voice already in defense mode, she muttered "" whats the problem?"" I showed her my little brown extra in my food, my hair is blonde...naturally. She said ""well hasnt your hair ever fallen out? What do you want me to do about it?"" I was horrified and embarrassed. After a second, I realized this woman was serious, she really was this rude. I then stated, well you could comp my food, as I am not eating another bite. As if the hair was not enough to take my appetite, this bully of an owner sealed the deal. She then said, and I dont know why I was surprised yet again, Well I will comp half of it since you ate half...WOW. Not wanting to make a scene and stoop to her level, my girlfriend and I got the check and hightaliled it out of there. NEVER TO RETURN...If you decide to, and I dont recomend it, make sure you ask them to hold the extras and examine your food before taking a bite, because at this place they expect the patron to be responsible for the cleanliness and preperation of your own food. \r
