I would like to make a formal complaint. I recently went to a ULTA salon in Maple Grove, MN. This experience I encountered made me completely upset; in return I will not be giving any good reviews to any family and friends for ULTA! I called and scheduled an appointment with Rachael on 1/4/13 for a haircut and color, once scheduled I showed her a picture of what I wanted to be done to my hair. She started working on my hair and advised me she would not be able to cut my hair, and she seemed as though she was in a rush. Upon getting ready to leave, she provided me a bill for 160.00!! She only had dyed my hair, and a few blonde streaks. She additionally charged me an extra 20.00 for extra blonde, which didnt match what she did to my hair. I was so angry that I left and just paid the cashier the full amount not disputing the dollar amount! Which was even worse she did not tell anything about pricing she just did what she wanted to my hair, luckily I had the money to cover all the outrageous charges she additionally charged me! I came home and looked in mirror the blonde she supposedly did to my hair was actually orange instead of blonde, completely even more upset, I went ahead and scheduled another appointment for her to fix what she had done to my hair. I have never been so upset to the point of having to redo my hair she really did a horrible job! To start off I never got a follow-up call of original appoinment, which to mention I received on first appointment. Additionally, I got there scheduled appointment for 3pm on 1/6, she did not take me until 3:30pm, did not apologize, and made me feel that uncomfortable, justifying why she didnt do a blonde, how my hair is to dark that it only can turn orange/bronze tint. Infront of other customers she continued to act like I was the problem. I felt like the biggest inconvenience as well as a victim for asking for what I paid for. I am completely upset with this experience its not okay what she did! I hope this is addressed as it is totally inappropriate behavior to clientelle. My first and last time at ULTA's salon. I feel like I was robbed!
