My sisters and I were looking forward to visiting Stevie's place for the Oscar Party Night, after driving over 70 miles to get there. Instead, it became a very disappointing night. A number of unsatisfactory things happened: 1) It took over an hour to get water to everyone at my table. 2) The waitress insisted that after we ordered a $25.00 appetizers dish, that each of us had to order another item from the menu or we would be charged another $25.00 fee for sitting there and not eating, 3) The speakers stop working right after the Grammy Awards came on, so there was no sound on the large screen for the majority of the show. The service was poor and slow, I shared a $36.00 combo platter with one of my sisters, the other two sisters ordered dinners, and I was still charged an extra $25.00, which I had to dispute and have taken off my bill. This was a frustrating and disappointing experiences for myself and my sisters. We will not be back. However, the food was tasty and priced a little high. But, it was not worth the trouble and the attitudes of the waitress and its management. On top of that, she demanded tips of 18%, to add insult to the situation, when the service was lousy. There needs to be improvement in their management practices.
