Do not shop here. Jeffrey Haines does not care about his customers. I'm new to brewing and had the staff at Brewers Connection help me piece together everything I needed, which included an auto siphon. All in all, about $200 worth of equipment and ingredients. When I got home, I noticed the siphon was not only broken in the package, but the wrong size. I returned to the shop and presented this to the owner, but he was unwilling to credit me the difference between the 1/2"" and 3/8"" siphon that I needed (about $6), even though I was there to pick up more supplies on top of getting the siphon exchanged. His responses to this situation included things like ""if you don't know what you're buying, then too bad"", and that this was a ""sob story"". It's a sad day when small business owners are willing to lose all future business from a customer over 6 bucks. I will not be returning to this store and would suggest mail ordering from Homebrewers Outpost in Flagstaff or going to Home Brew Depot on Alma School and Baseline for your brewing needs if you're in the southeast valley.
