I called Alarm One first when I decided to have the alarm system in my new home monitored. When I called I was put on hold but only for a very short time. Jon answered the questions I had and he met me at my house (south of Birmingham) in less than an hour. He was friendly and professional & knew alot about alarm systems which made me comfortable. The shortest monitoring contract term they offer is for three years, but he agreed to upgrade my system and threw in a monitored smoke detector and two remote controls for free. He checked the magnets in all the doors and noticed that one door (that I added when I bought the house) did not have one, he threw that in for free too! There was ALOT of paperwork, but Jon filled everything out for me and it didn't take too long. He called his office to schedule a technician to come do the work-it was going to be two days later and I wanted it done sooner, but they agreed to come late in the day after I got home from work. The next day I got a call from someone at Alarm One who told me that there was a change in the schedule and that they could do it that day! At 4:30 (exactly when he said that someone would be here) a really nice man named Greg showed up, did everything that Jon said that he would do and even showed me how to use it. That was two weeks ago and I'm extremely satisfied with EVERYONE that I dealt with at Alarm One and the alarm system in my house. Oh, and I decided to write this review when Jon called me back today to see if everything was still going ok. What a great bunch of people!
Pros: Everybody had a professional appearance and attitude
