Review content:
I bought two puppies from this store on the same day. One was a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel for 1,299.00 and the other a Golden Retriever for 699.00. The Cavalier developed a genetic disorder called a luxating patella in both back legs-basically his knee caps were fused in the wrong place and his muscles were atropying (He had stopped running and had difficulty walking). The contract that Incredible Pets gave me with purchase said that genetic disorders within a year will be given a full refund or a new puppy. As soon as he was diagnosed I called the Pet Store and talked to Kelly-she said bring a letter from the vet and a copy of the x-rays. I took in two letters from two different vets at two different clinics stating that the dog was deformed and needed surgery. I gave them a copy of the x-rays and then a week later I took in medical bills totaling over $2,000-Kelly said this was just what they needed they would get back to me. I called them and wrote them letters and they refused to talk to me. I filed a complaint with a government agency and Incredible Pets would never even respond. I assume they used all of the information I gave them to get a refund from their puppy mill broker and just kept it for themselves. \r
This has been such a heart breaking experience to have a dog with this disorder--a reasonable person could have just put him to sleep. This last year had been challenging. The surgery was major and he had a difficult recovery. This dog will never be normal and will need pain medication every day, but he is doing much better. Please learn from my experience and buy your puppy from a REPUTABLE BREEDER. \r
I wish I could say my Golden Retriever is doing great, but for the last four months his hip has been coming out of joint several times when I take him on walks. This is possibly another genetic disorder called Hip Dysplasia. \r
Please buy your puppy from a REPUTABLE BREEDER.
