Although it is a little hidden down a dirt path (not far from Hunter Mt.), once you get there and meet Joe, you're in for an adventure. Joe is a charming Brooklyn cowboy full of stories!! We went on a gorgeous Saturday morning and couldn't have been more blessed with great weather. Joe suited us up on his four horses and even gave us a half hour lesson for free before went off onto the trail. We did an hour trail ride, which was more like 2 hours! He lets you choose the pace that you are most comfortable with. These horses were impeccably responsive and easy to ride (it was 1 person in the group's first time ever on a horse). One other thing, Joe used to be a photographer, we gave Joe a camera and he took over 70 photographs of our group for free!!!!! After the tour he offers you complimentary snacks and drinks. I couldn't think of a better end to an amazing adventure. You won't be sorry if you go riding here.
