This restaurant epitomizes the elitism of America: “You only matter until you’ve surrendered your last dollar.” Joseph’s belongs in the heart of New York, where you can burn a thousand people, and next week, a thousand more will come in. That is not the community of Colorado Springs. I’m a doctor and have eaten at many restaurants across the world. Joseph’s is a Russian Roulette experience; if you’re there at just the right time, you might walk away happy; but you’ll be in the minority. If a restaurant’s rating is 75%, that means that there were a HUGE number of people disappointed, just a few of them felt it was so important enough to find their way through the internet just to warn their community. Those who were actually served and somehow saved from that fatal bullet, liked the food enough to chime in. If we like a place we visit, we are compelled to chime in our experience. But to write a bad review means that, not only did the place waste my time and money, but I’m going to waste even more time & effort to WARN others. Now, that is selflessness! Stay away from this place; it is cursed.
