Review content:
After I graduated college I began looking for jobs in the health and fitness industry. My first job was at a well-known corporate gym. Many of its members were motivated to improve their health, but the majority of them did not know how. The gym was less concerned with teaching its members and more concerned with bringing in money. At CrossFit Riot, I feel that teaching its members how to improve their health and why it is so important is a priority. In fact, as you walk in the door, fitness is defined in 100 words on the wall in front of you. \r The coaching staff at Riot is laid back, but expects every one of its members to give it their all, and on those days that it is tough to, they motivate you to give that extra umph. In addition to the coaching staff, Riot has interns from Cal State Fullerton who must complete an in depth internship on methods of training as well as nutrition (this is uncommon with most of the gyms I have researched, but extremely beneficial).\r The best part of the gym is the energy that exists in ""the box"". The walls are painted with brightly colored murals, there is always awesome music playing, and the members are very friendly. Not only is it a great place to work out, it is also a great way to meet new people and make new friends.\r
