My family and I loved going to Jason's deli on Congress ave. The food seemed super fresh and healthy. Sadly on Two separate visits we saw Roaches ! 1st time , Dec. 2011,we were at a table near the salad bar when I spotted a large Cockroach ( not a palmetto bug but a real roach) crawling along the edge of the table and then under the empty table next to us. I used the empty chair to rap into the table and the roach fell to the floor where my son stomped it. about two mins later I saw another roach scurry from under the same table all the way to the salad Bar ! \r
2nd time Feb 2012 after ordering lunch went to the back counter to get the trays& soup, when I saw a huge roach lazily crawling over the three trays and soup bowls set out for me & my family. All while the worker just stared at it waiting for it to move along. That was it for me. I went back to the front and demanded a manager and a refund. Several folks were in line ordering and when I expressed my outrage and disgust to the staff over this now 2nd incident the Manager said "All Right All Right Please lower your voice, we heard you !" Acknowledging the Infestation but just wanting me quiet about it. So please be careful ! Good food but a dirty dirty Joint !
